This document sets out the general terms and conditions for rights assignment applicable to any original musical composition created by Custom Beat as part of a client order. These terms are attached to the quote and form an integral part of the service contract.
Custom Beat assigns to the client, on an exclusive basis, all economic copyright in the original musical composition created to order, including:
The assignment covers the following rights, for all commercial and non-commercial uses:
The assignment is granted for the entire world, without geographical restriction.
The assignment is granted for the full legal duration of copyright protection as defined by applicable law, being the life of the author plus 70 years or any other applicable legal duration.
The rights assignment is subject to full payment of the corresponding invoice. Until full payment, Custom Beat retains all rights over the work. No commercial broadcast is permitted before this settlement.
Custom Beat warrants to the client that the works delivered are original creations borrowing no protected element belonging to third parties, and that their use in the intended context will not infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties.
Custom Beat retains moral rights over its works, in accordance with applicable legal provisions. The client undertakes not to undermine the integrity of the works beyond the adaptations contractually provided for.
This contract is governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute relating to its interpretation or execution shall be submitted to the competent courts of Marrakech, Morocco.
